Protect your skin from sunlight: How many types of sunscreen are there?

Browse By

Sunscreen is an important part of skin care. It is one of the skincare routines that should be done every day. We cannot avoid the sunlight and have to face strong sunlight all the time.

In addition, we need to understand which sunscreen has the SPF and PA values that are suitable for us. Another thing that we need to know and is equally important is  how many types of sunscreen there are  and what is the difference between physical sunscreen, chemical sunscreen, and mixed sunscreen.

Physical sunscreen, also known as Mineral Sunscreen, UFABET, acts like a shield on the skin, reflecting UV rays away from the skin. The cream will coat the skin and does not absorb into the skin as much. It is a popular and easy-to-find type of sunscreen because it is safe and effective in protecting from the sun. This type of sunscreen has minerals as the main ingredients.

  • Advantages: Does not react with the skin, suitable for people with sensitive and easily irritated skin, lasts longer than chemical sunscreens, lasts all day.
  • Disadvantages: The disadvantage of Physical sunscreen is that the texture is heavier than Chemical sunscreens. But those with sensitive and easily irritated skin don’t need to worry that using this type of sunscreen will make your face feel heavy or too heavy. Because many Physical sunscreens nowadays have a light cream texture that is comfortable on the skin and not heavy on the face. You can choose to buy it.

Chemical sunscreens have the ability to protect our skin from sunlight by absorbing UV rays to prevent them from penetrating and touching the skin. And then releasing them in the form of heat, not reflecting them back. This type of sunscreen

  • Advantages: It is a light sunscreen, does not feel heavy on the face, and is easy to apply makeup.
  • Disadvantages: Disadvantages of Chemical sunscreen. Of course, this type of sunscreen contains chemicals. Therefore, people with sensitive or easily irritated skin may experience an allergic reaction or irritation to the chemicals if using Chemical sunscreen. Another disadvantage of this type of sunscreen is that it must be reapplied frequently. You must wait about 10–15 minutes after applying it before going out in the sun.

Hybrid sunscreen is a combination  sunscreen that combines the advantages of UV-reflecting of physical sunscreen and UV-absorbing of chemical sunscreen.

  • It is a sunscreen that combines both the advantages and disadvantages of physical and chemical substances.

There are 3 main types of sunscreen that I have recommend. The ones that we often see are physical because they do not irritate our skin from the sun. Believes that if we understand our skin condition and our daily lifestyle.

Choosing a sunscreen that’s right for your skin, that doesn’t contain ingredients that can irritate your skin. And  applying sunscreen every day is n’t difficult anymore.
